#YourWellBeingIsNOTaLuxury
Lamarr Lewis, LAPC CPRP, is a dedicated advocate, author, and agent of change. As a community-based practitioner, he works with diverse groups including individuals living with psychiatric disabilities, people in recovery from substance abuse, and at-hope youth (He does not use the term at-risk). Through outreach initiatives, public speaking, coaching, and mentoring, he develops the next generation of leaders emphasizing sound mental health, self-mastery, reflective leadership, and holistic wellness.
He mines for the best in others by digging deep to find the brilliant, vibrant qualities that make them diamonds in the rough. Giving of himself through inspiration and servant leadership, he builds self-worth and self-esteem to provide clarity to the unconscious habits causing difficulties. Whether an organization or individual, his ideal clients may function outwardly. However, they still struggle with internal issues that keep them from the success they desire. By being vulnerable and transparent, Lamarr works to show others that achievement is possible, as long you persist.
Lewis Family Consulting, Lamarr’s newest business venture, provides consultation and coaching to community-based non-profits, public health organizations, and mental health agencies, positioning them to serve their clients in excellence. Whether he is working with C-Suite executives, a small group of middle managers, or an entire staff, he provides quality, high-level trainings and workshops to develop a culture of success, resilience, and leadership. Through empowering one-on-one trainings and group coaching, he has a proven track record of enhancing service delivery and achievement.
He is an alumnus of Wittenberg University, and received his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Argosy University. His career spans over twenty years with experience as a mental health therapist, consultant, and human service professional. He is also a featured expert for organizations such as Region IV Public Health Leadership Academy hosted by Emory University, The Ruby Neeson Diabetes Awareness Foundation, Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network, Wittenberg University, etc. His lifelong mission is to leave the world better than how he found it.
